Terms and conditions

Lesson Duration: An academic hour is 45 minutes for group Italian classes and 60 minutes for art classes (unless otherwise specified).

Schedule: The school schedule may be subject to variations on national holidays.

Minimum Enrollment: The academy reserves the right to cancel any course that does not meet the minimum enrollment of three students. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

Teacher Substitution: The academy reserves the right to substitute teachers for any course or workshop at short notice or during the session.

Force Majeure: We strongly advise participants to acquire travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances (force majeure) that may lead to course cancellation and potential losses for airfare and accommodation.

Student Responsibility: Students are responsible for any damages they cause to school property.
School Responsibility: The academy is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries sustained by students during their studies.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the course start date will not be refunded.
  • Cancellations with at least 7 days’ notice will receive a 90% deposit refund.
  • Visa Application: Students applying for a student visa and holding a letter of acceptance from our academy will receive a full deposit refund upon presentation of proof of visa rejection (e.g., letter from the Italian Embassy/Consulate).
  • Late Arrival/Early Departure: No refunds will be granted for late arrivals or early departures during a course.

Course changes: Students who wish to modify their course type or change their course dates can do so after obtaining permission from the school management. However, they will be required to pay an additional administrative fee of €50.

Bank Charges: Students are responsible for any bank transfer fees associated with their enrollment.

Teacher-Student Issues: The academy will make all reasonable efforts to ensure a suitable teacher and course fit. However, we are not responsible for any student-teacher issues beyond our control.

Acceptance of Terms & Dispute Resolution: By signing up, the student acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be settled in the competent court of Florence, Italy.
