Essentially it was your high level of professionalism that struck me. From the out set, when you first communicated with me over the Net, your tone, manner & attitude were impressive and so on my arriving in Florence I KNEW that I was in ‘good hands’!!
And from Day One of my arrival EVERYTHING went SO well and I consequently had a WONDERFUL 2 weeks – 2 weeks that will NEVER be forgotten !!
But it was not only your organisation of your school that was so good, but also the choice of staff who were appropriately placed to match the level of their students. For me the Beginner Italian classes were It fun, non threatening and a pleasure to attend each day + I learnt a lot!!

We spent a week with Maestro E. and @accademiadelgiglio drawing in the museums of Florence. We drew in 7 museums, viewed an amazing array of classical art work, stood in front of works we studied in Art History and thoroughly appreciated all we learned from E.:
technique, history, Italian, world travel, more places to visit, and where to find the best gelato and paninis. The team at AdG was very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend spending a week with them!

I am writing to inform you of how beneficial the weekend course with E. has proven to be and that my own drawing and understanding of how to draw has developed dramatically since I have arrived home and put the lessons into practice.
E. kindly gave me his versions of the drawings he had me working on and these have proven a great help to have, to compare my development with and remind myself of his advice.
The walking tour E. took me on around Florence was also one of the highlights of my five weeks of travel through Europe.

I took drawing classes at Accademia del Giglio in September 2018. It was the best experience of my life. The course is very good. There are many people from all ages and places.
